Before the Resume is run by me, Harjot Rana. I collect what I need to send you the chapter, sell you the book and see which parts of this site work. I never sell your data. Last updated 4 Nov 2026.
What I keep. Your email, where you signed up from and which emails you got. If you buy, your order too: the product, the price, its status and a payment ID. It lives in a database on Cloudflare.
Payments. Dodo Payments runs the checkout. Your card details go to them and never reach me. They are the merchant of record, so they also handle tax and invoices.
Email. Resend sends my emails. They see your address and whether the email arrived.
Analytics. PostHog (US) counts page views and clicks, and records some visits so I can see where people get stuck. Anything you type is hidden in those recordings. Pages with your private links, like your library or your chapter link, are never recorded. PostHog sets a cookie so it can tell a repeat visit from a new one.
Ads. I run ads on Google and on Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Their tags count visits and signups that come from those ads, so I can tell which ads work. They never get your email. They never run on pages with your private links. Google and Meta may set their own cookies for this.
Spam protection. To stop bots, I keep a scrambled version of your IP address for up to 2 days. Then it gets deleted.
Your choices. Every email has an unsubscribe link. Want a copy of your data, or want it deleted? Email me and I will sort it within 30 days. The only thing I keep is order records the tax rules make me hold on to.
